About Us

  I'm Kirsty and I run Degu Rock! I'm from the UK and I have been keeping degus for the

  last 12 years and in that time I have learnt a lot. When I first got my degus there was

  little to no information around so everything I have learnt is through thorough reading,

  research and from first hand experience. I have 10 boys of my own at the moment and I

  also take in unwanted degus and occasionally have some for rehoming.

I set up Degu Rock 3 years ago after many requests from people that I did so after helping them. It was set up as a place were degu owners and people with an interest in them could meet up and discuss degus and were people could come for help and friendly advice from people with knowledge and experience. We are not just a website we are also a forum and a small community were friendly advice, cute photos and a warm welcome are guaranteed.

This website is dedicated to the memories of Nipper, Jerry and Basil the little guys who ignited my passion for these wonderful little creatures, who are now all sadly gone over to rainbow bridge but will never be forgotten.
